Toyota has unveiled the 2025 Hyryder model in India. The refreshed version of the Toyota Hyryder gets some new features and a dual-tone color scheme. Additionally, it features a new 6-speed automatic transmission to replace the existing 5-speed manual transmission. The new Hyryder SUV is Rs 20,000 more expensive than the standard models, now costing Rs 11.34 lakh. It is to be noted that the automaker has not yet announced the complete pricing details of the updated Hyryder lineup.
The new Toyota Hyryder gets added features, including ventilated front seats, an 8-way power adjustable driver seat, ambient interior lighting, and rear door sunshades. Toyota has now offered LED reading lamps and a 15W USB Type-C charging port as standard in all variants of the 2025 Hyryder SUV.
The automaker has also provided an updated speedometer with better visibility and readability. Six airbags are standard in all variants, and some select trims have electronic parking brakes.
This Toyota SUV is available in seven monotone colors and four dual-tone color options with a black roof. The automaker has expanded its Hyryder lineup with a new AWD V variant with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, replacing the existing 5-speed manual transmission.
The same 1.5-liter 4-cylinder mild hybrid and 1.5-liter 3-cylinder strong hybrid powertrain options power this flagship SUV from Toyota. In contrast, the 4-cylinder unit packs a 12V starter generator; the 3-cylinder comes mated with a petrol engine, a 0.76kWh battery, and an electric motor.
The mild hybrid powertrain delivers a maximum power output of 103 bhp and 136.8 Nm of torque and is paired with a manual or automatic gearbox. The 4WD system is only available with an automatic transmission option. In contrast, the strong hybrid powertrain gets an e-CVT transmission to churn out 116 bhp.
